World Camel Day 22 June, 2011
After a long discussion at national and international levels, it is now decided that world camel day (WCD) will celebrate at 22 June. Camels have many salient features and very important animal. Camel is all purpose animal, produce food in the form of milk and meat and use as beast of burden in very difficult conditions. Unfortunately camel importance is never realized and never given it a proper place. Camel is under threat, the new camel respiratory disease and many other reasons are responsible for such threat.
While celebrating camel day we have to praise importance of camel in media and looking for a joint action for camel conservation.
